List Of Scholarships In Switzerland 2022 -2023
List Of Scholarships In Switzerland: For all those enthusiastically looking for Switzerland scholarships in 2022, well, we can help you out with that.
First of all, you need to know that Sweden values high-quality education and the country’s policies make that clear. There are 40 universities in Sweden, many of which make it into the top ranks globally, such as Uppsala University, Lund University, and Stockholm University. Sweden has been one of the European pioneers in switching to the English language and offers a whopping 900 degrees to choose from.
So, the scholarship we will be talking about is the Swiss Government Excellence Scholarship. This scholarship is actually fully funded for international students. However, it only covers when you want to study like a master’s or post-doctorate degree and that for masters and postgraduate degrees Ph.D.’s, etc. but unfortunately no diplomas or bachelor’s degree for this scholarship so this scholarship covers a few like things like exemption of tuition; monthly payments, insurance, some housing, etc.
It’s open to all nationalities. You can do a master’s, a Ph.D., or your post-doctorate with the scholarship but not an undergraduate diploma or bachelor’s degree or anything. We will be addressing these:
1. COVERAGE
2. REQUIREMENTS
3. HOW TO APPLY
1. COVERAGE
• This scholarship covers a monthly payment of about 1,900 – 2000 Swiss francs per month.
• If you are a non-EU member or Non-EFTA guarantees then it will also cover your health insurance but of course, if you are an EU national then it might not really cover your health insurance because you probably already have it.
• You also get if you are from a Non-EU or Non- EFTA country, receive an allowance for your flight tickets coming and a return ticket to your country of origin when your scholarship ends. So I think that it’s also kind of like a really good bonus.
• You would get a special housing allowance of about 300-500 around there which you will receive at the beginning of your scholarship. We think this is really great because Housing can be a bit pricey and a bit hard to find if you need any help finding any specific housing.
• You will get a half fair transport card. I had one when I was in Switzerland.
• Support services and various trips, dinners, and sightseeing tours organized for Swiss Government Excellence Scholarship holders.
• Please refer to the country-specific fact sheets for exact scholarship benefits.
• No family allowance
